- There is such a thing as Wedding Season and Bar Mitzvahs Season, so be quick and be early.
- For weddings Labor Day weekend is always very popular as well any weekend May-July.
- As for the Bar/Bat crowd since everyone is the same age, you are bound to know a handful of teens preparing for their big day and there are only so many Saturday’s to choose from. For the young women Sunday’s may work, but most Monday’s are school days and who wants to complete with that?
- Picking this date early and letting your guests know is especially important for Bar/Bat mitzvahs. In the Bar Mitzvah circuit your guests may be invited to more than one event on the same day and there could be a time conflict. If you have your date set and it’s known, hopefully there is some etiquette/courtesy in your community where two people with the same friends won’t celebrate on the same day at the same time. You don’t want your child’s event to turn into a popularity contest.
